    Itinerary

    Day 01. Paro Airport – Thimphu

    Meeting & Greet upon arrival at Paro Airport, followed by a transfer to Thimphu, Bhutan's capital city (7,710 feet), is provided. Stop along the road to see the Tamchog Lhakhang. You could also decide to cross the Chuzom Bridge on foot (subject to time permit). When you get to Thimphu, check into your accommodation. Wander through the streets of Thimphu in the evening. You could decide to unwind inside the hotel. Sleep in Thimphu.

    Day 02. Thimphu Sightseeing

    Check out the Kuenselphodrang after breakfast (Buddha Statue). Kuenselphodrang, which is only a short drive from Thimphu City Center, provides a good perspective of the Thimphu valley. Here is where the greatest Buddha statue in the nation is located, along with over 100,000 smaller Buddha statues. Then see the National Memorial Chorten erected in the remembrance of the Third King of Bhutan. Finally visit the Folk Heritage Museum. Visit Takin Preserve Center, Changangkha Monastery, and Sangaygang View Point in the afternoon. Bhutan's national animal is the takin. Visit Tashichho Dzong in the late afternoon (Fortress of the Glorious Religion). Sleep in Thimphu.

    Day 03: Paro Sightseeing

    After breakfast start full day sightseeing covering Ta Dzong - National Museum with an excellent collection of Bhutanese antiquities, Rinpung Dzong - the administrative seat of the district of Paro. Afternoon visit Drukgyel Dzong - The Dzong was destroyed by fire in 1951 and is now preserved as heritage site & Kyichu Lhakhang - one of the oldest Buddist temples in Bhutan. Overnight stay at Paro.

    Day 04: Paro Airport

    After breakfast check out from hotel and drop at Paro Airport for your onward journey.
