Trains from all over the country connect the NJP station along with the major cities including Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata. Pelling is at the altitude of 2000 metres where the temperature rises up to 25 degrees in summers and drops to 1 degrees in winters. However Pelling can be visited at all times of the year it is best to avoid the trip in monsoon season as it remains from July to September.
